NiteRail delivers high-energy rock music all night long! This is not background music. It’s a rock show from start to finish that is just as exciting to watch as it is to listen to! You’ll never see the members of NiteRail get bored because they are always seeking to push their limits. The band hashes out a dynamic blend of covers and originals that is sure to engage lovers of live music!

This energetic group, all still in their twenties, is top notch, polished, and air tight. There appears to be no limit to what these guys can do! Their sound can be compared to groups like the Allman Brothers, John Mayer, Blues Traveler, the Black Crowes, Santana, Led Zeppelin, and the Rolling Stones. Whether it is a gut-wrenching ballad, a classic rock favorite, or funky and danceable original, these guys deliver!

NiteRail’s work has been featured in publications like the Mankato Free Press, Rochester Post-Bulletin, Owatonna People’s Press, Faribault Daily News, Blue Monday Monthly, Static Magazine, and Applauze Magazine. Original recordings have been played by radio stations like KFAI, 96.7 The Dog FM, and KMSU.

HISTORY
Formed in 2004, NiteRail has played over 50 venues throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin as both a rock and blues group. Some of the venues played include Famous Dave’s and the Cabooze in the Twin Cites, the Kato Ballroom and Hooligan’s in Mankato, and Oktoberfest and Nighthawk’s in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. NiteRail and its members have also played festivals such as the Tree Frog Music Festival, Mankato Ribfest, Oldtown Summerfest, Summer Solstice, Mid Summer Jazz Festival, and the Chatfield Crawdad Festival.

EXPANSION
You’ll never see the members of NiteRail bored because they are always seeking to push their limits. The band is constantly adding to new and classic hits to their play list and is currently capable of performing over 100 songs spanning rock, blues, funk, and soul.

CAPABILITIES
NiteRail can deliver a full three-hour headline performance as well as festival and opening sets in a duo to five-piece setting. Besides their high-energy rock show, NiteRail is also capable of playing up to a three set blues show. NiteRail tailors set lists to the specific needs of your event and can cover anything from large festival stages to intimate acoustic events — just ask!

KoreyKorey Hicks attended Berklee School of Music, and has more than ten years of experience performing—and he's only 26! He stands among the very top guitarists in the region and is a highly sought after guitar instructor outside the band. His history spans rock, jazz and blues, and his blended style has become a major signature of the band. His trademark is his crisp, clean speed and tone, a pairing that has been well-admired across the nation.
MikeMike Fugazzi has studied diatonic harmonica from two of the world's top harmonica players, Chris Michalek and Clint Hoover. Career highlights include opening for Indigenous, playing with Michalek-Strone at the 2005 Mid Summer Jazz Festival, and sharing the stage with harmonica giant Jason Ricci in 2005 and 2006. His sophisticated sound is lyrical, soulful, yet aggressive, while always paying tribute to the greats of the instrument.
ZachZach Sershon is a classically-trained keyboardist who has been playing since he was 4. Despite being only 21, Zach has played in over 10 bands and has 6 years of live experience. Zach is also a professional composer, with a diverse portfolio including working as a staff composer for a music publishing company, writing soundtracks for commercial videos and arranging a full-length musical. Zach’s influences are broad and cover every musical style, ranging from jazz to classical to rock and anything else you can imagine! Also, his mane of dark curly hair is quite enviable.
KonrKonr Ness is a classically-trained bassist, organist, and saxophone player. He has been gigging for the last 15 years—over half his life! His solid, dependable groove is the backbone of the music, keeping the other players in check. He comes from a large family of active musicians and his experiences and inspirations are diverse. Also, have you seen this guy dance?
 
JamesJames Schneeberg brings diverse inspiration to the pulse of the music, studying for years under local jazz great Phil Hey, and previously contributing to a variety of local groups. He continues to perform outside the band as both a percussionist and a set player. Behind the kit, his spectrum of inspiration ranges from rock to hard-bop, hip-hop to funk.
